Hey guys!!
Just yesterday I finally returned back to civilization from my biig trip to South Africa, Zimbabwe & Botswana! As you can probably imagine, it was amazing!! Not so much fashion-wise but just the people, the landscape and of cause seeing the animals out in the wild.
Please don’t ask me what animals I got to see..I must have seen every single animal there is from A to Z. It was incredible!
This group of locals were singing my favourite african song: “The click song” :)
In all honestly, when I left 2 and a half weeks ago, I too went with mixed feelings to Africa. In Europe we got this common misunderstanding that we think South Africa is incredibly dangerous for tourists. But after being there, though some areas really ARE not safe areas for tourists with the high crime rate going on, I experienced a very different Africa than what I had expected. The people are very lovely and helpful, always happy to teach you about their culture. Watching animals we Europeans only know from visits to the zoo in their natural surroundings out in the wild gave me some sort of inner peace.

The picture of the hand with the dried flower drew me to this post. I really enjoyed reading it too! I hear so many people in the United States bad mouth areas like South Africa and Mexico. We have plenty of areas which are not safe to be loitering in–especially as an outsider–here in our own country as well!
Cheers from Southern California!
